Date: Wednesday, April 4th
Time: 7:00 p.m. EDT
Arena: Quicken Loans Arena

Wednesday's Quick Facts:
The Monsters and Aeros meet for just the fourth time tonight, as Lake Erie goes for its first win against Houston. The Monsters are 0-2-0-1 in the series. Each of the losses has been by just one goal. The teams have only played once in Cleveland, a 1-0 Aeros win on February 27th.

Eric Healey has two points (1G, 1A) against the Aeros in the three-game series so far this season. Mike Wall is the only Monsters goaltender to not face Houston. Jason Bacashihua was in goal for one loss, and Tyler Weiman was between the pipes for a regulation loss and shootout loss.

Jamie Lundmark has scored in three straight games for the Monsters, and has recently recorded points in nine of his last 12 contests. He has posted 10 points (4G, 6A) during that span, and has 31 points (13G, 18A) overall this season.

I was there tonight, very small crowd.
Weiman is definitely better than Wall, it could've been 4 or 5 to 0 instead of 2-0.
Once again, our offense sucks, story of the year.

Tommy, I'd have to totally agree with that statement.
We were talking about that in our section that it could be worse, like 5-0...
Wyatt was on the radio, says his back was hurt and he should return FRIDAY, there's our OFFENSE, now, What is up with PURINTON? We get him back and the DEFENSE will improve... JILLSON FINALLY TOOK A SWING AT SOMEONE

That game was dull. Probably because we didn't score and there weren't any big fights. Also the shots on goal were low. I think that might be a victory for our defense, but the offense didn't have it together last night, that's for sure.

I'll be surprised if we win any more games at home. Only three left.

In earlier posts, people that went to practices say there tends to be a low turnout and they're not pushed very hard.
If thats the case then it showed wednesday night. For those hoping to get there shot in the NHL, you'd think they'd practice even harder. My friends nephew plays for the N.J. Devils and says the practices are soooo much more intense in the NHL than AHL and your always working. If your not doing anything else then your practicing wristers or snapshots, always working. You'd figure that the young guys hoping for that shot would work twice as hard.
This isn't intended to be a rant. I go to the games, I enjoy myself. On the occasion I catch an NHL game on tv, it's just not the same not having a home town team to root for, so I'm glad to have the Monsters to cheer on.
I don't know if those posts about there practices are the norm or the exception but the last couple of games I went to that seemed to be the case.
That being said, I do feel that we'll have much improvement by next year. I think we'll have even more fun.
