all the songs that they play @ the q suck! especially that soulja boy crap. the only good music is the metallica intro and ac/dc.

Liam Lynch is funny (the "United States of Whatever" song). He does satirical material (like a smarter Dead Milkmen), but they play clips of "Whatever" when we go to the box or get scored on. They play that song kind of a lot.

i think next year they should play Bon Jovie "we've got it going on."

the canadian punk rock band NOMEANSNO have an alter-ego band called The Hanson Brothers. They did a cover of stompin' tom connor's "good old hockey game". it would be wonderful to hear that occasionally.

it would be nice to see some "hockey related" songs being played. the hanson brothers, there is also two man advantage which do hockey related songs as well, yeah ned it would be nice to hear sometime.
the dropkick murphys (from boston) did a song for the bruins, the boils (from philly) did a song for the broad street bullies.

2 man advantage are pretty funny. i think it's a couple guys from slapshot, who were really good (at the time).

add to your list, DARKEST HOUR did a washington capitals fight song. it's kind of lame though.

holy s**t! that is just pathetic, glad to see the caps out of the playoffs. i'm sorry but those songs are really lame and i love how in last nights game one of the announcers had the audacity to actually call washington a hockey town again.
the caps were a mistake, wait ARE a mistake if any team needs to move they are it.

i have to admit hockey and heavy metal do not go together, that darkest hour song and the pantera song both suck, the pantera song sounds like recycled versions of some of their other songs.
boston's dropkick murphys and phillys the boils both have great songs. punk rock and hockey GREAT match!
