I need to get new skates and was wondering where in the greater cleveland area to get my skates sharpened. I know most rinks can do it, but since these are NEW skates, I really want to make sure that I get a nice edge on them initially.

Helpful tips? Thanks.

I think so too, but if you're in Akron there might be a play it Again closer than Iceland.

if you live on the east side of cleveland, go to cleveland sporting goods, its on 91 (som center rd.) that is where i get my skates sharpened, they are a sport specific store and they are the best in clevo.

no problem, they are a nice staff. we used to get all out equipment and sticks from them, also they specialize in customizing sweaters. i recently got my adam foote sweater and it looks great.

that's sweet! I have a SOO Greyhounds jersey that I want to have Gretsky's name/number added to.

I'm debating on finally getting a Gordie Howe replica Red Wings jersey like I always wanted or springing for a Monsters replica. It's good to know there's a place locally that does good work.

they should, they usually have a good selection. they are sport specific so in the winter time its usually set up for hockey and all the winter sports and vice versa for the summer.
you may want to ask about customizing the soo sweaters because i think they can only do current rosters, but i dont know.
