I know it's popular in the AHL, but I'd love to see dollar dogs night go away. It fills the arena with hot dog fans, not hockey fans.

2 for 1 Tuesday night game tickets (exempting glass and club seats)? I've been to Tuesday night games where the cheaper seats are half empty. I don't think it'd be costing anything to do that and get the newbies in on off nights.

Keep it up with the satirical skits, Monsterpiece Theater, etc. That was a nice change mid-season. The bits when we play the Moose are great!

Johnny Keys is way better than Crazy Clod (intended), keep him!!

I'd love to buy a tshirt with the center ice circle logo on the front. That would make a nice third jersey crest.

Counting down for next season!

They said they may do a third jersey next year. I'm sure they will. It's a money thing. Sell more jerseys, make more money. I'm sure it'll have the monsters logo on the front.

Nobody is buying a hockey ticket to buy a $1 hotdog because they love hotdogs. That's silly. People go on Dollar Dog night because it's more inexpensive overall to see the game when you bring your family. People won't become hockey fans if you don't want them to go to games unless they know hockey. Everyone starts out green. People should do more to help educate people about the game, it can be confusing if you don't know the rules.

I don't think the big crowds are bad. I think there needs to be better organization among the vendors. It's surprising that you get a crowd of 15,000 in the door (Or even 10,000+) and many vendor areas are closed. They must have NBA only contracts or something.

I believe most 2 for 1 deals are sponsored. For instance when you use your National City card on certain days you get 2 for 1. Those deals are there, they just aren't blanket deals because the Q staff wants the advertising dollar.

I like the free parking for season ticket holders. I hated when the garage was passes only for a few games. And last game I ended up paying $20 to park across the street. Ouch.

I agree the skits are great. I'd like to see a bit more infotainment where they explain the rules in a humorous way. (Like they do with the Mullets and John Michael) It entertains and it helps new people understand what is happening on the ice.

An injury report on the website would be huge.

I like the interview videos that are posted up after the home games on the website. It'd be cool if there could be some gameplay video as well of highlights. And maybe some road-game coverage. Although I know that's harder for the Q folk to gather.

Aramark needs to improve their food service all around. Their speed, the product (Everything is fried), the staff, it all needs work. Or there needs to be other food shops open to offer some variety.

Some Ushers need to do a better job of busting folks who sneak down to the glass during games. Those seats are expensive, if someone paid for them, they shouldn't have to share them with a group of kids that bought BOGO $10 tickets.

big crowds are nice but too many people at least where i sat for this season we're not interested in the game, they we're there for social hour, and just like that stupid prize patrol, they came down while in play to actually pass out those stupid bags, which i got nailed in the head with while i wanted to watch the game. i couldnt because i had people standing up in front of me waiting to get a bag or whatever.
now i hope they do do a third sweater design or maybe even a better design for a new sweater with the monster logo as the main crest and the m on the shoulder and for the third design spell lake erie down at an angle like colorado's third sweater design.
game highlights, well we didnt have to worry about that since we didnt have all that much to celebrate about, dont get me wrong they won some tough games @ home and abroad, other teams in the ahl have game highlight videos so it would be a good thing to adopt for next season.
aramark does need to improve their employee quality, they basically hire anyone that is willing to work key word (WILLING) that doesnt mean they're going to take pride in their work and actually move quicker they just want a paycheck. i had a bad experience with them and that is another reason why i dont eat @ the q.
the ushers can only do what they can do, it ultimately is upon the patrons (fans) to be honest and also courteous to the other spectators while the puck is in play and/or they are in the wrong seats. i know we had to move one time do to the idiot people next to us just had to get up every 5 minutes making it hard for us to actually watch the game, so we found an open row just a couple down from us and sat and enjoyed the game.

KJB summed things up nicely.

I really despise the whole Johnny Keys thing (nothing against the guy, just that whole presentation). It's so lame and played out already. Love the Mullet Brothers though, and Olivier is awesome.

A third jersey would be nifty, I would definitely shell out for one if it looked decent. Bobbleheads are always a good giveaway, and people flock for them. I'd also like to see a player t-shirt giveway (I think that was a choice during a poll on the Monsters site), maybe like a jersey but in shirt form. The NHL and MLB sell them all over.

I also wouldn't mind more promo jerseys, like the tie-dyed ones...it's cool to see something different like that. The Jacks had tons of crazy styles for Christmas, the Millennium, etc.

I'm sure the Monsters game production will only get better, and it was already an A+ for the season. If only success on the ice could follow that, because this team was worse on home ice than all but one Barons team; and even that was by only one win. Says a lot.

I agree on the Claude. He is terrible. When I see him, I groan and pray he will a. stay away from my section. and b. limit his interruptions.

As for the Dollar Dogs, I like them. The only issue I had was the constant people entering and exiting the stands during the dollar dogs nights with bunches of food for their group.

I love our "MC" announcer too. You don't realize how good he is until he has a 'guest' to help him. (like the yahoo from a local radio station who messes everything up)

As for the quality of the crowd, it seems to be an on-going issue with many true fans, but hopefully it is something that will improve over time. (There is always next year.) Smiler

as far as claude goes, he is not that terrible only when he does it during actual gameplay does it become a problem and its not like he's at every game anyway.
dollar dogs, sure why not, i dont eat at the q so they could keep dollar dogs.
it would be nice to maybe see a st. patricks day game sweater, i've seen some other teams and it looks nice, so that would be nice to see, the tie dye okay but not great.
CROWD QUALITY, this has been an ongoing issue, i would defintly like to see a better crowd. peopel that don't have to get up every 10 or so minutes to either go get food or whatever, try watching the game or dont go, i want fans in the stands to make this team succeed but listen to the PA announcements concerning the puck in play, and looking out for flying pucks and the biggie, IF YOU DONT LIKE HOCKEY DONT GO TO THE GAMES!!!!! i had a few people behind us for one game that would just not shut up about how boring the game is, if hockey is sooooo boring than what the **** is baseball? so yeah people that can actually listen or at least be courteous enough to wait for a stoppage in play.
the mullet brothers are for the kids i guess, i dont mind them but really don't like them, i understand the chiefs (who own da chiefs) are our affiliate but...
i'm just ranting here.

Hey, Olivier has come a long way this year. That 'guest' isn't half as good as Olivier was at the beginning of the year and I for one wasn't a fan... He's has improved and the MonSquad has made leaps and bounds into becoming an intregal part of the entertainment. They don't get in the way and their timing has really improved.
I think Olivier has been the MVP for the organization and definitely has at least been the Most Improved.

My thoughts exactly. He came near me once and I basically told him wouldn't be smart to blow that horn in

Yea I totally agree.

GET RID OF CLAUDE. HE'S SO ANNOYING! He takes the focus off of the game. makes me mad.

i aghree with ned....alot of these friends just come for either the cheap hotdogs or the free giveaway..none of them are true hockey fans. its a bit much and annoying as well. beleive i know that they are buying these tickets for just the hotdogs...i sell tickets for the indians and our dollar hot days are the best sellers because fans just want the cheap hot dogs...ive had customers just say they dont care about the game...its just for the hot dogds and if they're paying over $30 a ticket to get a 1 hot dog then they are for sure paying 26 to get a dollar hot dog. so i dont want to hear they wouldnt buy a ticket for a $1 hotdog.....cause they do.

they should maybe have more autogrpah nights or something. just get rid of claude and we're good.

The point of $1.00 hot dogs and other giveaways is to make money. If they aren't making money, we don't have hockey.

How about some better talent? As fans who watched a subpar team this year and were in the top 5 in attendance I think we deserve a better team. I know thats easier said then done but hopefully theres some talent in Johnstown who will be ready next year. Mainly some defenseman. Id hold on to Love and thats about it.

vernace needs some more time down in johnstown, he may have alot of assists and he is a subpar defenceman. he had the worst +/- on the team. i will give sacco next season to coach these guys, if nothing improves then i will rip more into him.
we did have a first year team with alot of rookies and a first year coach so the odds were stacked against us from the beginning but i think we did good for what we had. at least we didn't finish last in the division albeit we were second from last BUT not last.

Well Vernace was really the only puckmoving defenseman we had, with Cumiskey being up in Colorado.

And I think we can forget about Jillson cause hes a UFA and Colorado would be stupid if they resigned him. For gods sake, the guy was a first round pick back in 1999 and if hes not in the NHL by now then teams should give up on him.

thats pretty harsh. hes a good defensemen. and we need him on the team. i guess everything i keep saying is the same stuff. but i have faith him. really just cause hes not in the nhl doesnt mean he sucks....cause he was a first round pick and is still playing pro hockey even if its a minor team....if he was as horrible as you all say then he wouldn't be playing now. so obivously hes got somehting you all dont see cause hes still playing and still has loyal fans. its kinda funny. everyone thinks its so easy to play hockey from the seats and it isnt. these guys were signed by nhl teams....they have contracts to play pro hockey. so they're doing somehting right if they're still playing....i know this is a late post but i figured i would put my 2 cents in.

Eh... hes not saying its easy to play hockey. He is saying that it is stupid to keep Jillson around because he is getting too old to have in the minors, thats all.

it's fine to be in the developmental league when you're starting out and after you've had some time in the bigs to help develop younger dudes. if you are in the developmental league 10 years, maybe it's about time to think about what else you're good at.

you know im not even buying this age crap anymore. healy is in his 30's yet no one is mention how old he is in minor leagues....if jillson is due to get out cause hes getting old. then healey and smith were due along time to get out of the minors. i hate to say that about healey cause i have mad respect for the guy. jillson is only 27.....the indians bring up players to play who are 27 or over. so just cause hes getting closer to 30 doesnt mean his best years ar eout of him. the dude is still a young guy. who knows.... i personally like AHL over NHL. Just cause nhl is a totally political money grabbin businnes. and i get why it is...but AHL is just more fun and outgoing. i even tlaked to one of the players about it and he said the nhl is all business, here its just alot of fun. To me it really is more fun, more closer to the players and the sport. NHL just doesnt phase me as much. this next season will see the avalanche play the blue jackets and pittsburg. i really would like to see crosby play once. just to say i did even though i dont like him. great player but not on colorado. he reminds of lebron james. its not 6 guys on the ice its crosby with 5 other no name guys. thats what it seems. i hate that because hockey is a team sport and every player deserves credit for playing and have a shinning moment. But what do i know. sorry for my rant.
