Lake Erie Monsters (18-23-4-7) at Syracuse Crunch (26-25-2-3) Date: Monday, February 18th Time: 7:00 p.m. ET Arena: Oncenter Complex TV: FSN Ohio Radio: Listen live here to ESPN 850 WKNR Webcast: Live through B2
Monday's Quick Facts: Tonight the Monsters are playing their fourth game in five nights. It is also the third game of a five-game road swing. Syracuse is the third straight North Division foe Lake Erie has faced recently. The two teams have already met five previous times this season. The Monsters are 2-2-1-0 against the Crunch, and both wins have come in Syracuse.
Goaltender Jason Bacashihua made his return to the ice in Lake Erie's last game, Saturday in Hamilton. He had been out with an injury since December 14th. In his and Tyler Weiman's absence, Mike Wall had started the last eight games in goal for the Monsters.
Jamie Lundmark, Eric Healey and Dan DaSilva will all look to continue their current points streaks tonight in Syracuse. Lundmark has posted six points in the last five games; Healey has five points in the last four games; and DaSilva has three points in the last three games.

Does anyone have any idea what that logo is on the Syracuse players jerseys? It's been bugging me all season long. Looks kind of like the Joker in old Batman comics. It's just plain weird.
I especially loved how Syracuse cleared their bench up that last period! Didnt they have like 4-6 guys left? How come we can't bring all that physical play to our benefit on home turf! My hats off to Boychuk, havent seen him drop the gloves too much this season. Keep up the good work guys!
i think that might have been chris stewart's first REAL fight (on the face off - something obviously verbal).
Great game and a fun-to-watch third after a kinda even second. my only question is if any suspensions will come of this game for the crunch. they had more guys ejected than they had on the bench by the end. crazy.
april 8 = crunch at the q. that should be fun.

great game, wall was great, solid defense, couple of fights and the monsters won big! syracuse had to resort to fighting since they couldnt win, what a bunch of babys. i dont know if anybody will get suspended, the coach should be the one to get suspended for not keeping his dogs on a leash. this is going to be the start of a good rivalry, the next game is probably goon-a continue where this one left off. and to my suprise dale was a good boy last night. since he has been promoted he has been out of the box for the most part and playing some good hockey.
What a great win ! I LOVE FSN Ohio for showing the Monsters games... it's awesome to be able to see our team on TV.
The more I see the Monsters, the more I like what I see... I know they are young and still coming together so there are times they will have bad games like this past weekend...(blowing leads, etc...) but then a game like last night makes up for it.
Keep up the great work Monsters !

GREAT GAME, think it was WALL's First Career Shut out as a Professional. Still checking but either way, he earned it. Great stops at the end and 3 point blank (Blocker side) EVEN MADE a TERRIFIC GLOVE SAVE!!! Like watching my son and his friend play NHL2008, just scoring at will!!!

Yeah it would have been nice is my FSN in Tiffin wasn't showing Xavier basketball, what a joke... but I did get to watch David Jones and the Avalanche get destroyed by the red wings... wow! =(
You should have turned to the channel. The guide said it was Xavier basketball, but it was actually the Monster's game. Unfortunately when I Tivo'd it, it thought the game was only two hours, so I never saw the third.

Hi KJ, just to let you know over the two seasons previous to this Wall had three shutouts as a pro. O One with Augusta Lynx, one with Portland Pirates, and one with the Arizona Sundogs. He also scored a goal with the Sundogs last year.
