Was forced to dress in game one. The word LAKE ERIE MONSTERS was said on CBC and they showed him. Also, I am watching game 2 and jose just got taken out so some Budja guy is in. So maybe weiman has to dress again.

the avs are playing a better team. it doesn't matter how you slice it, the red wings are a dominant team having a great year.

when mcleod went to the box right after getting out of the box (and the weak fight with mccarty), NBC announced that he's the first colorado rookie with 100+ penalty minutes and that he also had 100+ pms with Lake Erie.

NBC mentioned The Lake Erie Monsters about 4 times today during the Avs/Wings game. They also talked about Cody McCloud and mentioned his PIM's in Lake Erie and Colorado. They also said he was playing hard like he doesn't want to play in Lake Erie next year. The average person watching the game with no knowledge of The AHL must have been wondering what the heck the announcer was talking about McCloud playing in the lake..:.)

they are not going to dress weimann, its either going to be budaj or theodore for game 3 and honestly if i was colorado i would put theodore on the shelf and keep budaj in goal, if they have any chance against the red machine.
one of the announcers also said he LIKED the name of the lake erie monsters.

Hi there...Tyler dressed in that game because Jose got sick or was sick to begin with...and he did get TV time...made my day... Smiler

The Denver Post is saying that Theodore will get the start in game 3.....Tyler will be ready to go if anything would happen to Theo or Peter....

All the Monsters are doing well, in my eyes, with the Av's....

Hope you all are doing well in Cleveland....

yeah, theodore is ill and probably wouldn't be playing unless the games were VERY important. I feel for the guy, and I'm not an avs fan.

the av's are hurting @ the goaltending position, theodore is an unrestricted free agent (i think) and i dont know too much about budaj but they really dont have a great goaltending core.
starting theodore in game, 3 i dont know about that he looked really shaky in the first two starts getting taken out in both games.
but they are playing @ home so we will see.
oh yeah one more thing GO REDWINGS!!!!!!!

Woo Hensick getting an assist in Game 3 even though it was in a losing cause. And an even bigger woo that McLeod got that goal. Cody throwing that octopus back into the Detroit stands at Game 2 was one of the funniest moments these playoffs have offered.

it looked like TJ's goal would have gone in even if cody hadn't redirected it. I wish TJ had the credit w/ cody getting the assist, but in the end it doesn't matter either way.

I thought mcleod looked like a **** throwing the octopus back into the stands. it was a classless move. players should not get involved with the crowd like that. they've been doing that in detroit since 1952 - it's part of the playoffs.

he thought by doing that (throwing of the octopus in the stands) it would get detroit and their fans off the game, but to no avail, colorado lost yet again Smiler hopefully detroit can finish it out in colorado and get the sweep. if they do it will be the first time that either team has swept either team in the playoffs. that will give a little more fuel to the rivalry if detroit gets the sweep.

No, what is classless is throwing an octopus onto the ice just to get attention and disrupt the game and the staff of the Joe doing nothing to curb that kind of activity. In every other arena in hockey, it is grounds for an ejection and stern warnings (ooohhh) from the staff not to have it happen again up to an including assessing a minor penalty to the home team. Obviously the league has different rules for Detroit. BTW, Tootoo was the first to grab one this year and toss it off the ice. If you want to allow this nonsense, bring back the rats!!!!!!!

Cool, we have a mind reader on the forums! lol.

The funniest bleeps to me are on the Fox forums where you cant say Mr. Tarnstrom's first name.
