Tonight begins a back-to-back-to-back for the Monsters. After playing in Rockford tonight, they will go to Peoria tomorrow and finish up in Grand Rapids on Sunday.

Lake Erie is 1-0-1-1 against the IceHogs this season, with the win coming in Rockford. The Monsters defeated the IceHogs, 2-0, the last time the teams met, January 5th at the Metro Centre. The win was Tyler Weiman's second shutout of the season. Eric Healey has three points (2G, 1A) in the series, while Jeff Jillson has recorded three assists against the IceHogs.

The Monsters are coming off a 1-0 loss at home to Houston on Wednesday. It was the 30th game of the season decided by one goal. Rockford also enters tonight's game after a loss on Wednesday (4-3 Milwaukee).
