since none of those jerseys are on ebay yet, i'm thinking the people who won them like them.
Yeah, I just know that there weren't many like you Ned...

I know a guy who used to get season tickets to the Barons and I think to the Jacks too. He didn't get them for LEM because he didn't like the hype. He felt that "why should I pay when they give away so many seats". I saw him saturday afternoon before the game and he said "STHs' won't get the jerseys, they already have your money. It's more about getting people in than fan loyalty". That was his opinion. He has the same complaint as many here do about people there for the giveaways and disrupting the game. He'll wait until there's a better product on the ice he said.

i kind of agree with G2, it is all about getting people in the seats. i know we had some of the best attendance in the ahl for a first year team but when you look back @ how many actual people got a free seat or from a company giveaway and then look at the people who are sth's or repeat fans the attendance would reflect what it is for a weekday game. yes the weekend games are going to draw more and what you see during the weekday games MOSTLY are season ticket holders and just pure hockey fans.
I agree that the STH should have had better odds at getting a jersey than first time fans. I'm not a STH, but my dad and I have been to 15-20 games this season. I also agree that all the little kids just there to see a fight need to shut-up/ Maybe the first time you hear a "Hit him in the face", it might be funny, but through all 3 periods, come on give me a break. I was not fortunate enough to get a jersey, but throughout the season I was able to get other things. I recieved a game used stick from Peroria's Defensemen Aaron Mackenzie and our own Brad Richardson. Also on fan appreciation night, I got Chris Stewart's! I was super stoked about it and all three are now hanging on my wall. If anybody else got anything interesting during the season, let's hear about it.

You sit down there to pick up all of those sticks? I thought they were guaranteed for life and they had to return those to the manufacturer?

No, they take those away before the end of the game. I go down to the bench right after the game and as they're coming off the ice, I tell 'em good game, give 'em a high-five, and ask some of them for their sticks.

I was at the Barons last ever game and they all gave there sticks away. The kids were clamoring down there for them. The dads were happy saying they weren't going on a wall, I shouldn't have to buy a stick for a while.

Welcome to The American Hockey League. How long did it take you to figure out that this is a weekend league that generally doesn't draw crap during the week.
