Where is Wyatt Smith these days? I see he hasn't appeared in the lineup for a while. Is he hurt?

don't know the seriousness of the injury. He probably is done for the year. They have too many prospects they are looking at right now. If they play him, I look for him to be moved to the ECHL. Too bad, enjoyed his play here, just isn't getting the shifts when I seen him in uniform.

I would also wish to hear Smith's status...I recall Sacco in a postgame interview saying he'd be questionable for some upcoming games, but that was at least week or two ago. Same with Bacashihua, who was originally said to be out about two weeks (how long has it been now?).

I'd be shocked to see Smith in the ECHL anytime soon. While he did not impress in Colorado, he did play in 25 of of the Avs' first 26 games and has over 200 games on NHL experience all told. He's also been a solid AHL point producer in his career, so I don't think there'd be any call to demote him further when he could very well help our anemic offense here.

Which prospects are you referring to? With just about everybody and their brother getting injured this year at both the major and minor league levels (and thus the Monsters having to deal with losses from injury AND callup), I think the issue is a lack of capable bodies rather than a surplus of players with only a limited amount of spots available. I think just about every guy is getting a better look than he would have anticipated before the season.

Finally returned to ice tonight.
Scored a power play goal on a nice move.
Had some nice line play, did well on the ice. BIG ADDITION back to the Monsters.
