i just read on the ahl website (transactions) that matt hussey was suspended by the team anyon know why?

I heard something about Marijuana being involved.

Hussey signed with Jokerit of the Swedish Elite League over in Europe. It is customary for the team in the states to "suspend him" once he signs that contract.

Correction: Finnish---SM Liiga to be exact. not the swedish elite. this is what happens when you post half awake. either way, he is no longer with the monsters and over in europe

I talked to Hussey the other day and asked why we wasn't playing and he said because of the veteran rule, he said it sucked, that might be why he left

there might be another reason why he isnt getting ice time, besides the ahl veteran rule!
