I think the Should scrp the D-league. INstead of the D-league they should make a Reserve grade competition. It should go like this:
*Each NBA team has a reserve grade team
*Those teams play BEFORE the NBA game
*PLayers in the Reserve grade competition can be called up to the NBA but only bye their NBA TEam equivalent.

They don't need that many minor-league teams.

Play before the NBA game? Not going to happen. Travel and arena bookings come to mind as hindrances to that plan.

Plus, nobody would want to see stiffs like Shannon Brown play before the real game.

I don't mind the D-League. If you put the D-League teams in the same cities as their NBA franchises then there is less market for them. The point of the D-League is to not only develope young talent, but to put basketball in smaller markets that aren't capable of supporting an NBA team, but are capable of supporting a much cheaper team. Many of the NBA cities wouldn't be able to support both an NBA and a D-League team from a money standpoint.

yah we have the D leaguew here i live.. and i mean it really helps the players improve and stuff .. so i really dont see a problem with it
